I believe community is something you invest in, not just something you live in.

 

Being part of Descanso means more to me than having an address here. It means showing up, supporting local events, preserving our history, and helping create spaces where neighbors gather and connections are built. That’s why it’s such an honor to serve on the board of the Descanso Town Hall.

 

The Town Hall represents the heart of our community, from pancake breakfasts and local fairs and parades to meetings and celebrations that bring people together. Serving on the board allows me to contribute in a meaningful way and help ensure this space continues to thrive for future generations.

 

For me, being ingrained in the community means giving back, staying involved, and investing time and energy into something greater than myself. It’s about stewardship, not just of homes and land, but of the place we all call home.
